Located near Komyuin and Hoshoin.

Located near hakushima streetcar stop and the river, between the JRtrain tracks (aboveground) and Johoku-dori Ave.

At the time of the bombing the trees were located behind the Temple and so were protected from the blast. Later they were moved to the front.

In the area: 100% houses destroyed, 30% poeple killed, 60% poeple injured. The roku-jizu also survived.
